B2B buyers rarely pay list price for large orders — they ask for a quote. Request a Quote for WooCommerce gives them a proper channel: an Add to Quote button, a quote basket that is completely separate from the cart, and a request form that lands every enquiry in your dashboard.

Rules decide exactly who can request quotes and on which products — everyone, only certain roles, only certain products. Quote-only mode can even hide add-to-cart on matched products, so negotiated-price items can never be bought at list price.

Every request is saved as a quote in your admin with the customer’s details, message, requested items and the prices at the moment of the request — plus an email notification to you and an optional confirmation to the customer.

Key Features

  • Rule-based visibility: choose which roles and products can be quoted
  • Quote-only mode: hide add-to-cart so matched products can only be quoted
  • A real quote basket, completely separate from the WooCommerce cart
  • Quote page with editable quantities and a request form (auto-created)
  • Quotes saved in the dashboard with items, prices at request time and status
  • Email notifications for you, optional confirmation for the customer

How It Works

  1. Create a rule: choose which roles see the quote button and on which products.
  2. Buyers add items to their quote basket and adjust quantities on the quote page.
  3. They submit the request form; the quote is saved in your dashboard with a status.
  4. You get an email, review the quote, and follow up with your price.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the quote basket really separate from the cart?

Yes. Quotes live in their own basket with their own page, so a buyer can shop normally and build a quote request at the same time.

Can I make some products quote-only?

Yes. Enable quote-only mode on a rule and matched products hide their add-to-cart button — the only action left is requesting a quote.

Where do quote requests go?

Each request becomes a quote entry in your WordPress admin, with customer, items, quantities, prices at request time, message and a status you can update.

Can guests request quotes?

Your choice. Rules can include guests, or you can require login before a quote can be submitted.

Does it record the price the customer saw?

Yes — the quote stores item prices as they were at request time, so later price changes never distort an open negotiation.

Is this plugin really free?

Yes. The plugin is fully functional and free forever — no locked screens, no trial timers. A premium version with advanced features is planned, but everything you see here stays free.

Will it slow down my store?

No. The plugin is intentionally lightweight: no external requests, no front-end frameworks and no extra database tables. It hooks into standard WooCommerce filters and caches its work per request.

Does it clean up after itself if I uninstall?

Yes. Deactivating keeps your settings; deleting the plugin removes its options and data from the database, leaving your store exactly as it was.
